LONDON – December 10, 2025 – After years of providing laughter and community-driven fun to millions of fans worldwide, Wobbly Life is taking its next giant leap beyond gaming. Developer RubberBandGames today announced a partnership with Adrian Askariah and Prime Universe Films to develop Wobbly Life for film and television. 

Prime Universe is known to gamers for producing two action-packed Hitman films, starring Timothy Olyphant & Rupert Friend, based on IO Interactive’s blockbuster Hitman video game franchise. Askariah also serves as Executive Producer on the Hitman TV series currently in development at 20th Television.

“I was drawn right away to Wobbly Life’s playful world and the quirky characters that have enchanted millions of players,” said Adrian Askariah, producer, Prime Universe Films. “Its meteoric growth shows the strength of the universe and I’m excited to work with RubberBandGames to bring it into film and television. This world has a tone, identity, and characters that lend themselves to storytelling across multiple formats.”

Wobbly Life has grown from a one-person indie passion project in 2019 into a global franchise enjoyed by players of all ages. The game’s open-world sandbox invites 1-4 players to explore, work odd jobs, tackle imaginative missions and live out their best “Wobbly Life” across a sprawling island – and following its recent update, among the stars.

Since its debut, Wobbly Life’s success has skyrocketed, powered by word-of-mouth and a passionate global community:

Player engagement reached new heights in 2025, with more than 60 million hours played across all platforms after the Space Update launch. Media and influencers alike characterize Wobbly Life as a “cross between GTA and Human Fall Flat”.

In addition to Hitman, Prime Universe’s IP-based projects include the TJ Hooker action-comedy reboot in development at Netflix (with 2.0 Productions), and The Last Bear, based on the best-selling book, currently in production at Studio Canal and ZQ Entertainment with Bertie Ellwood directing.

Adrian Askarieh was represented on the deal by LICHTER, GROSSMAN, NICHOLS, FELDMAN, ROGAL, SHIKORA & CLARK.  RubberBandGames was represented by Thomas Dunn.
